Our client is seeking to permanently hire Brand Managers.
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and activities that facilitate the growth of market share and revenue for the client.
Responsibilities:
Develops the annual promotional calendar, marketing plan & budget for each individual line of business and implement same upon Marketing Director’s advice and approval, keeping in line with stipulated budget.
Conceptualizes advertising & promotional campaigns and ensures annual media packages reflect strategic placement in line with each business line’s objectives.
Collaborates with e-Commerce Manager and Social/Digital Media service providers to develop content & promotions aimed at further brand exposure in addition to fan growth and engagement.
Executes the radio, television and print advertisements in a timely and effective manner in keeping with campaign requirements
Ensures invoices for all booked line media activities are reconciled against booking/purchase orders and passed to the Marketing Assistant for payment
Prepares and dispatch communication for the execution of store initiated events and track performance of all promotional initiatives and provide post mortem reports to management inclusive of marketing metrics.
Executes all Supplier funded promotions and ensure correct and timely rebate submission to Regional Marketing.
Prepare all Marketing briefs and Return of Investment proposals prior to each Campaign for approval by Marketing Director.
Ensures Social/Digital Media service providers are updated with relevant promotions and/or events at all times.
Plans, coordinate and execute local/community based marketing activations within budget
Prepares and submit monthly reports to management in keeping with department’s process requirements
Performs any other duties requested by the Ecommerce/Business Development Manager.
QUALIFICATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or related discipline
Two (2) years’ experience in a marketing environment
One (1) year experience in an Advertising Agency or Media Planning Department.
Knowledge of Digital/Social Media Marketing and proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs.
Good communicator – provides clear, concise written/verbal communications appropriate to the audience
Strong project management, decision-making and analytical skills
Excellent copywriting skills – ability to rework technical text for a broader audience
Good attention to detail
Team player – works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded
Salary range: $8,000.00 - $10,000.00
