Brand Manager, Hyundai
The Hyundai Brand Manager is responsible for the sales, marketing and logistics activities for the assigned Brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Develop the Annual Brand Plan in conjunction with the Hyundai Brand Champion, Marketing Manager and the New Vehicle Sales Director. Plans to include quarterly promotional plans.
•Develop annual marketing budget. Control and monitor advertising and promotional expenditure verses media plans.
•Responsible for analyzing & forecasting Annual New Vehicle Sales Dept. sales targets and budget with guidance from Brand Champion & New Vehicle Sales Director.
•Negotiate with suppliers on best prices for orders and sales incentives.
•Develop vehicle cost build up and retail pricing in consultation with Brand Champion and New Vehicle Sales Director.
•Manage aged stock for the brand and communicate with the Sales Managers on sale discounts to minimize aged stock.
•Responsible for preparing the monthly orders of inventory to the supplier & placing orders with Logistics (DTS).
•Work with Marketing and IT to manage communication through the digital channels e.g. email, face book, twitter, internet etc.
•Develop value analyses and other comparative pricing analyses for the brand.
•Ensure that new models are introduced according to the new model Launch procedure.
•Ensure all advertising materials adhere to brand & company guidelines.
•Prepare creative and advertising briefs to direct advertising agency, approve media plans and advertising materials (print and radio).
•Order and coordinate signage (Visual and Showroom identity- DEP) and monitor all brand touch points.
•Coordinate sales promotions (test drive events, external displays etc.) and support aftersales promotions for the brand.
•Develop promotion campaigns and coordinate events (new model launch).
•Attend foreign supplier training and cascade all supplier training to sales team. (e.g. product training, brand training and sales process training.)
•Design training materials and Coordinate training sessions and delivery.
•Daily, weekly and Monthly sales reporting to supplier. Monthly reports to Brand Champion and New Vehicle Sales Director.
•Daily correspondence on all brand matters both sales and marketing related.
•Control and coordination of surveys relating to the brand and review the results of the monthly customer survey by brand and coordinate actions with departments where necessary to improve results.
•Coordinate location visits & monthly attendance at sales meetings.
•Analysis of market trends, vehicle specs, features, competitors. Analysis of sales processes and product offerings. Recommendations based on analysis.
EDUCATIONAL / SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
•A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related discipline.
•Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Brand Manager or similar role.
