BRANCH MANAGER (ST. LUCIA) 

 

Job Summary:

Our client in the Security Solutions Industry is currently seeking to recruit a dynamic, results-driven individual to fill the position of Branch Manager for its operations in St. Lucia, reporting to the Managing Director based in Barbados. The Branch Manager (St. Lucia) contributes to the strategic development and operation of the business as a key member of the Operations team, providing organisational capability and marketing the brand as a leading security solutions provider. 

  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide leadership and support to Branch staff and ensure effective use of all resources, including people and vehicles, enabling the Branch to achieve performance objectives in accordance with the Company's core values, enabling the Business to achieve business plan objectives.
  • To contribute to the strategic development and operation of the business as a leader and key member of the Operations team, providing challenge and support and participating in business decision making.
  • To ensure that agreed organisational policies and practices are applied consistently throughout the operation, ensuring that the Business is not exposed to excessive operational risk.
  • To develop and achieve outstanding quality and customer service in every area of operation, maintaining positive customer relationships and agreed quality and service standards to satisfy customer expectations.
  • To manage the performance and development of Branch staff, ensuring that agreed Development Plans are in place to enable individuals to realise their potential and achieve challenging targets.
  • To drive and inspire the performance and development of people, ensuring that agreed Development Plans and Succession Plans are in place to enable individuals to realise their potential and achieve challenging targets.
  • To develop a management succession plan for the your area of responsibility, as part of the Business Succession Plan framework, to ensure that talented people are identified and high performing individuals have an opportunity to develop their career.
  • To continually develop customer, competitor and market knowledge and expertise throughout the operation, to ensure the Business can gain commercial benefit.
  • To create an environment of positive and favourable employee relations where change and business decisions can be introduced constructively and consistently.
  • Ensure that the Company's brand is appropriately represented in St. Lucia
  • To actively build networks and influence with relevant decision makers in Business, Government and Political circles, ensuring that the organisation is visible and recognised in the market.
     

 Education and Experience:

  • Applicants should possess a degree in Business Administration or a related business field 
  • A post graduate degree in Business Management would be considered an asset
  • He/She will have a minimum of five (5) years’ progressive managerial experience
