Work Location: Samurai Restaurant, One Woodbrook Place
Reports to: Restaurant Manager & Bar Manager
Restaurant hours: 11.00am – 11.00pm, Mon – Sun
Duties:
ü Ensure the bar is always fully stocked
ü Have a comprehensive knowledge of all classical cocktails as well as the restaurants signature cocktails.
ü Have a comprehensive knowledge of the prominent categories of alcohol and beverages as well as the brands that we carry.
ü Have a comprehensive knowledge of the food menu and be able to make informed suggestions to the guests.
ü Fill out beverage request forms when re-stocking the bar from the stock room.
ü Wipe bar tops.
ü Re-stock garnishes and mixes.
ü Ensure the bar is always stocked with sufficient glassware
ü Re-stock ice when needed.
ü Maintain a clean bartender’s station.
ü Ensure prompt and pleasant customer service.
ü Make sure chillers are stocked neatly and sufficiently
ü Make sure speed rails are stocked properly and in the prescribed order.
ü Sweep bar at the end of each shift and mop at the end of the night.
ü Make sure merchandise on the back bar are displayed with labels lit and facing customers.
ü Make sure straw and napkin holders are stocked properly.
ü Make sure garbage bins are cleared out at end of night.
ü Any other duties that may be assigned
Requirements:
ü Valid Food Badge
ü Copy of ID (to be attached to application)
ü Excellent Customer Service Skills
ü Experience is a major asset
