BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION UNIT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in the design, scheduling and coordination of all global/ local training programs and devises a comprehensive curriculum of global continuing education programs and teaching methods to support UTT’s objectives
Assists in the calculation(s) of the return on investment for each course; recommends future courses and facilitators based upon results and prepares related reports
Assists in the development, design, and printing of the biannual Continuing Education (CE) calendar
Conducts research on competing CE from institutions/organisations and liaises with industry advisors, product management and marketing to develop relationships with a network of speakers and create new technology to attract customers;
Liaises with Field Force to target key universities, develop relations and CE courses;
Recommends comprehensive support material for developing university sales, educational opportunities, etc.;

COMPETENCIES
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite of programs
Knowledge of research methodologies
Knowledge of promotions and marketing techniques
Analytical and problem solving skills
