Major Responsibilities

• Performs a range of accounting assignments while learning the methods, processes, and procedures of the work.
• Performs the accounting and payroll, and other functions as assigned by the in-charge;
• Responsible in the preparation and submission of weekly, monthly and annual reports;
• Prepares bank reconciliations, PR summary & other accounting related task - disbursements, collections, VAT summary and FS preparation;
• Verifies items billed against items ordered and received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the client;
• Reviews on-line transactions for changes and accuracy and corrects errors.
• Participate in new business development initiatives through presentations, meetings and writing proposals.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks successfully
• Proven technical accounting proficiency and strong analytical skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment and matrix organization
• Experience managing financial reporting in a timely and consistent manner

Senior Manager/Manager

• ACCA, CIMA or CPA  qualified
• Experience with leading teams and experience within manufacturing, insurance, banking or oil and gas industry would be considered an asset
• Prior auditing experience would be considered an asset
• Proficient knowledge of and experience with MS Office tools and applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a similar role

Senior Associate

• ACCA, CIMA or CPA  qualified
• Experience within manufacturing, insurance, banking or oil and gas industry would be considered an asset
• Proficient knowledge of and experience with MS Office tools and applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a similar role

Associate

• ACCA, CIMA or CPA  qualified
• Experience within manufacturing, insurance, banking or oil and gas industry would be considered an asset
• Proficient knowledge of and experience with MS Office tools and applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• A minimum of 2 + years’ experience in a similar role
