| The Shipping Association of Trinindad and Tobago (SATT) is the leading maritime association in the country. Established in 1938, the Association represents the interests of the shipping industry’s stakeholders - Agents, Brokers, Freight Forwarders, Ports and Terminals, NVOCCs, Marine Pilots, Surveyors, among other entities. The Association provides a platform for discussion on key issues, facilitates networking among its members, and partners with Government, all in an effort to build stronger relationships and improve the maritime industry in Trinidad and Tobago. The SATT also represents its members’ interests with the Industry’s regulators such as Maritime Services Division, Customs & Excise, Immigration, and the Pilotage Authority, and plays a significant role in facilitating interaction between its members and these entities. The Association is committed to strengthening the position of its members in the market place and will continue to constantly evolve to ensure that it remains relevant to its diverse membership in an ever changing landscape. |
