Key Accountabilities

• Provides professional day-to-day execution of audit engagements and projects
• Assists in preparing risk assessments and audit plans for clients
• Performs audit testing under the direction of the audit senior
• Communicates issues arising to the audit senior in a timely manner
• Prepares documentation and reports which are in line with the internal standards of the department
  
• Provides high quality service to clients
• Is proactive in respect to personal professional development and training

Technical & Professional Competencies

• Analysis and Reasoning – is able to identify anomalies through review of financial information using analytical procedures. Demonstrates an awareness of client business and is able to make judgments based on that understanding.
• Documentation - Documents concisely, clearly and thoroughly findings to inform senior and audit manager.
• Teamwork – works well with other team members and facilitates the sharing of information within the team.  
• Attention to Detail – Performs tasks with care; is thorough and identifies issues.
• Researching Information – Demonstrates initiative in researching information pertinent to client and accounting issues.
• Knowledge  - of IFRS, IAS, compliance and risk. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Pursuing ACCA level 2
• A minimum of two (2) years experience in an audit environment
