Associate Corporate Affairs Analyst

Salary range: TT$15,000.00 to $18,000.00

 

Temporary (4 month contract)

 

Purpose:

Working as part of the Corporate affairs Department, this person will develop, implement, and help to manage media, government, industry, internal communications and community relations in Trinidad and Tobago and maintain the positive reputation of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • As necessary, serving as the company’s spokesperson on media and other matters regarding company activities and events. Provides input as necessary for managing the company’s donations, sponsorship, and sustainable development programs and generating publicity as appropriate
  • Writes appropriate press releases and other public documents and ensure appropriate accuracy and publicity
  • Internal Communications
  • Government and industry stakeholder support

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social science or other relevant subject or combination of relevant experience

 

Experience & Technical Competencies:

  • 5-10 years in corporate communications/media/public relations or combination of relevant skills. Persons from other disciplines with a relevant combination of skills will be considered. Responsibilities will include:
    • Developing relationships with external media, government and industry contacts
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownerships of position of responsibilities
    • Experience in petroleum, energy, or resources industry or in relation to communities a plus.
