Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be required to manage the operations of a top quality casual dining/quick service restaurant on a day to day basis. He/she must be willing to cooperate and collaborate with the other restaurant managers and corporate management consistently.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively perform the duties and responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager in his/her absence.
Effectively manage staff schedules in order to optimize operational efficiency and manage costs.
Resolve customer and staff issues or complaints expeditiously and professionally.
Monitor food preparation, food quality, and food presentation consistently and effectively.
Implement, enforce, and monitor all cleaning, sanitizing and food safety procedures.
Conduct daily team briefings to share information, feedback, and reinforce operational standards.
Maintain physical facilities and equipment in optimum condition and performance.
Ensure that approved procedures and recipes are adhered to in the preparation of all food items.
Enforce and comply with all security management procedures.
Requirements:
Qualifications in supervision, management, or restaurant management.
A minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory or management position.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good computer skills.
Must be punctual and reliable.
The ability to train and lead teams would be an asset.
Previous training in food safety and/or customer service would be an asset.
