Assistant Manager Training and Development
POSITION: ASSISTANT MANAGER TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager Training and Development will be responsible for the coordination and administration of all aspects of training needs assessment, training design and delivery for theprograms offered by the HCDFCL.
Reporting Relationship: Manager Training and Development
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, develops, implements and delivers training programmes within the HCDFCL.
Identifies training and development needs.
Liaises with external academic and technical educational institutions to access relevant and accredited training and educational programmes and maintain training partnerships.
Develops and maintains the training and educational database and reports all training statistics to the human resource department.
Ensures that systematic training and continuous improvement models are adhered to and that the highest standards in training design and delivery are maintained.
Monitors and reviews the progress of trainees through interviews, questionnaires, feedback forms, employee work performance assessments, Head of Department feedback and any other means necessary.
Assists in the evaluation of service providers.
Prepares training materials and aids such as training manuals, presentations, handouts, questionnaires and other support materials.
Coordinates and timetables the delivery of training sessions through the allocation of training rooms, equipment and scheduling of service providers.
Reviews, revises and amends training and development programmes to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.
Designs, develops and implements Computer Based Training (CBT) and other E-learning methodologies and mechanisms.
Researches new approaches, techniques, technologies and methodologies in education, training and learning and implements changes to training and development programmes.
Performs any other related duties as directed by the Manager Training and Development.
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
Training as evidenced by a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Bachelor's in Instructional Design or Bachelor's in Human Resource Management/Bachelor's in Business Administration with a specialisation in education, instructional design or training and development
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the practice and management of training and development
