We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position of Area Manager, Tobago in the Premium Beverages Division.

We are seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in the Premium Beverages Division:

AREA MANAGER, TOBAGO

The incumbent will be required to manage the Division’s Tobago sales, distribution and promotions whilst ensuring that monthly predetermined sales targets and gross profit margins are attained or exceeded.

 

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:  

  • Selling and promoting the Division’s products
  • Ensuring that all routes and customers are properly serviced and that key supplier products are visible and / or available where required
  • Identifying opportunities for sales and distribution growth with new and existing customers
  • Negotiating with the customer to gain approval for promotional activity and sampling of Company products within the outlet
  • Working closely with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure that all in-store promotional activities are executed according to plan, conducting site visits and assisting with execution as required
  • Supervising the day to day activities of Merchandisers within assigned geographical area, ensuring that all accounts are serviced according to schedule
  • Providing and ensuring efficient customer service, and that good relationships with customers are maintained
  • Verifying inventory wherever the Company’s products are sold and ensures the availability of products
  • Conducting random stock checks of distribution trucks to verify stock levels
  • Ensuring  that complete stock checks are conducted at the end of each month for each sales person, and cash and stock reconciled
  • Completing sales reports in accordance with Company and Supplier criteria

 

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Diploma level qualification in Sales or Marketing; Bachelor’s Degree would be an asset
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a FMCG Sales environment, with at least two (2) years at a supervisory level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
