To assist with day to day automotive inspection, maintenance and repair of the company’s fleet of motor vehicles to ensure they are in good running condition.
Qualification & Experience
A minimum of five [5] CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English Language
NCTVET certification in motor vehicle repairs - levels 1,2,3
A minimum of one year experience in motor vehicle repairs

Key responsibilities & activities
To assist with troubleshooting and correcting of faults/problems
To assist with repairing and/or replacing of worn or faulty parts
To assist with re-assembling, testing, cleaning and adjusting of repaired or replaced parts
To assist with the tuning of engines using special equipment and make adjustments for smoother running of vehicles
To assist with the testing and repairing of electrical systems such as lighting, ignition and electronic fuel injection
To assist with the inspection of vehicles for roadworthiness and listing of work/parts required if necessary
To assist with preventative mechanical duties
To assist with motor vehicle recovery and emergency repairs
To assist with the preparation of parts requests
Perform any other duty assigned within the scope of the position
Must be willing to work on shift
