We invite applications for a new Digicel Opportunity - Administrator (Marketing)
Primary objective of the job:
- To provide administrative support for the Marketing Director and co-ordinate the daily affairs of the department.
- To provide support/coverage to the Marketing team by filling in and solving/redirecting any issues or problems that may arise.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a schedule of the Marketing Directors' diary & appointments
- Collect/maintain/disseminate information (faxes/mails/minutes) regarding the department on a timely basis.
- Raising Purchase Orders and having them approved/stamped by the respective signees
- Correspond with internal/external customers/service providers both orally and in writing
- Preparing meeting notes/minutes for Marketing team
- Making hotel arrangements and flight arrangements for the Marketing Director & team
- Prepare reports and other presentations documents for the Marketing Director & team
- Maintain/provide information for Vacation and Absence Report
- Order/collect/distribute and maintain stationery as required by the department
- Liaise with all Departments on administrative matters pertaining to the department
- Typing, Shredding, Filing, Copying, Faxing documents for the Marketing Department.
- Other Admin tasks i.e. telephone bills, mileage claims, expenses, vacation leave,ordering business cards, maintaining that the printer &, fax machine
has paper etc. are signed and sent to the respective persons for processing.
- Delivering invoices to the Finance Dept for payment to supplier and customers
- Manage workshops/meetings setup on/off site
- Plan and execute all events hosted by the Marketing Department.
- Monitoring the budget for the department and to ensure all spending is within guidelines.
- Performing related and other duties as assigned by the Director.
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
- Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent and a minimum of five CSEC/O'Level general proficiency passes including English language and a numeric
subject (Mathematics and/or Accounts).
- At least three years' experience at the executive secretarial level.
- Good knowledge of marketing environment
- Training in product/service selling.
- Excellent typing and computing skills.
