Administrative Assistant
Main Job Function
To provide assistance to the Manager Marketing, Corporate Communications & Events and the Education & Training Coordinator in the marketing and hosting of Professional Development Programmes and Events for the Institute and to ensure that the programmes are well developed and executed to reflect the professional standards associated with the Institute in all its offerings to its membership.
Key Accountabilities
Assists in the roll out of the Annual Training Calendar, Seminars, Conferences and Events by ensuring that relevant information is disseminated to members on a timely basis
Assists in mobilizing member participation utilising multi media, telemarketing and other forms of communications as appropriate in support of the various CPD Seminars/Conferences/Events so as to meet all targets indicated.
Assist in building, retrieving and verifying a database of members for use in the identification of prospective participants of Seminars, Conferences and Events, and follows-up with correspondence, telephone or other forms of communication.
Coordinates the registration process, prior to and at CPD Seminars, Conferences and Events, maintains a registration mailing list that is up to date.
Designs and produces print, electronic and web-based material to support CPDs and other ICATT events.
Education/Training:
A professional diploma or a Certificate in Business Administration/ Management (with English and Mathematics at 'O' Level) or two (2) years experience in a similar position
Computer fluency with a working knowledge of relevant software
* A Certificate in Graphic Art/Design or at least two (2) years experience in Graphic Art/Design.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a working knowledge of web applications, design for electronic media
