Accounts Executive
A non–governmental organisation (NGO) located in Kingston, Jamaica, invites applications from suitably qualified persons to join its team.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Account Executive, with guidelines provided by the Programme Manager required to:
Coordinate specific marketing initiatives
Communicate new product and service opportunities, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Grow and maintain customer relationships
Conduct regular follow-ups with customers
Assist in the development of sales materials
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Keep up-to-date with market trends and competition.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION
University degree in Marketing or a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years sales or marketing experience. An alternate combination of work experience and education and /or training may be considered.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Excellent command of the English Language and arithmetic skills required.
2. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
5. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job requires significant local travel and suitable applicant will be required to own a reliable motor vehicle.
