Accounts Clerk
ACCOUNTS CLERK
Purpose:
To provide general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support to the Supervisors within the department.
General Responsibilities:
Maintains accounting records by making copies, filing documents
Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger
Maintain accounting databases by entering data into the computer
Perform accounting and clerical functions to support Supervisors
Compile and sort invoices and cheques
Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system
Process bills for payments
Inputs vouchers, cheques, account statements, reports and other records
Assist in month end reporting procedures
Process Accounts Payables and Receivables as needed

Requirements:
Minimum two (2) years experience in a similar field
Must be ACCA Certified - Level 1, CAT or FIA
Must have experience with using Accounting software
Experience in a retail environment would be an asset
