ACCOUNTING CLERK

Job Summary:

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate entries of data in the relevant accounting systems (software).

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

• Checking sales for up to eight (8) locations on a daily basis.
• Audit and balance cashier reports daily.
• Ensure lodgements and cashier data are entered correctly in Oracle Database.
• Investigate Cashier variances and reply to correspondents from stores in a timely manner.
• Generate voucher reports daily.
• Generate monthly reports for sales and deposits for each location.
• Record variances for cashiers on a daily basis.
• Generate monthly reports for cashier variances.
• Monthly stock count/Audit .
• Oracle monthly debit and credit card upload.

Qualification and Skills Needed:

• Possess a High School Diploma including passes in Accounts/Mathematics, Information Technology and English Language at the CSEC level.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a similar discipline would be an asset.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity, in a multi-unit/ fast food industry.
• Self-motivated & deadline oriented with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Display excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
• Willingness to work long hours on an on needed basis.
