Accounting Assistant - Finance

DIRECTV Trinidad Limited is seeking suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Accounting Assistant - Finance.

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT – FINANCE

 Job Summary:

 The Accounting Assistant – Finance will be based in Trinidad and will be responsible for basic accounting processing while providing support to the Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities:

•  General Ledger and Bank Reconciliations and Analysis
• Preparation of General Journals
• Processing of Accounts Receivable and Payable transactions
• Fixed Asset Accounting
• Treasury Reporting
• General Ledger Accounting Data entry on to SAP system

Experience/Requirements:

•  A minimum of three years (3) relevant accounting experience and completion of level 1 ACCA or any equivalent combination of accounting qualification and experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP would be considered an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications with emphasis on Excel
• Proficient Ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast paced team environment
• Must be a results oriented, confident individual and a team player with ability to meet stringent deadlines.
