The Academic Secretary works to support the documentation in the Dean's Office. This means updating academic documents and records, filing and back-up into online software as may be needed. Recording and typing of minutes is also a task for this job.
The Academic Secretary will be required to:
- Carefully review all program, site and faculty information and materials.
- Clarifying expectations and responsibilities of instructional staff through training activities and gathering feedback.
- Supporting instructional staff.
- Collaboration between instructors and teaching assistants, and gathering information through classroom observations.
- Develop, maintain and coordinate on class schedules and generate reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
