Position Overview

The Floor Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on the floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities on the floor, including bar service, food service and customer interactions.
  • Provide guidance and support to floor staff, bartenders and hosts to ensure smooth and efficient shift.
  • Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards, delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all floor staff highlight the Batting Net safety instructions to all guests and these standards are monitored and adhered to.
  • Monitor the flow of customers and allocate resources effectively to minimize wait times and optimize service levels.
  • Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest.
  • Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance performance.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional activities, special events, and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization on the floor, including tables, seating areas, and bar counters, in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Assist in inventory management, including restocking, monitoring stock levels, and reporting any discrepancies to management.

 

Key Attributes

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in bars, restaurants or sports venues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of bar and restaurant operations, including beverage service, food handling and customer service best practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the needs of the business.
