Compliance Specialist / Security

Compliance/Security personnel needed. $450 per hour with health insurance. Epay card for lunch subsidy.

 Job Overview:

As a member of the compliance team within our call center, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors while also ensuring adherence to compliance standards set forth by regulatory bodies and internal policies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment and upholding the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols and monitor security cameras to detect and deter any unauthorized access, suspicious activities, or security breaches within the premises.

• Access Control: Manage access points, verify the identity of individuals entering the facility, and enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry.

• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of occupants.

• Compliance Enforcement: Enforce compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards related to data protection, confidentiality, and security protocols.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and any breaches of compliance. Prepare detailed reports documenting security activities and findings as required.

• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other members of the compliance team, as well as relevant departments such as IT or HR to address security concerns, implement best practices, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

•  High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or compliance management preferred.
•   Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a call center or similar environment.
•  Sound knowledge of security principles, compliance standards
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using security equipment and technology, including CCTV systems and access control software.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and make quick, sound decisions in emergency situations.
•   Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
•  Flexibility to work in rotating shifts (12-14 hours daily), including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Salary is $450 per hour with health insurance and lunch subsidy.
