Champions is a 24-month rotational programme aimed at converting our Country’s most ambitious and high-performing graduates into our future Executives. Candidates will be immersed in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where they will be expected to deliver results and progress swiftly. Champions is carefully structured to optimize professional exposure, deepen technical expertise and cultivate leadership competence.

Successful applicants will be immediately assigned to strategic projects under the guidance of a mentor selected from the Group’s Senior Executives. Effective completion of the programme will lead to a final placement with potential growth and development opportunities within the ANSA McAL Group. 

INSTRUCTIONS

Note: Both Resume and Essay question should be submitted together in one (1) document, preferably in a PDF format by applying below.

VIDEO GUIDELINES:

  • Be creative yet professional with your submission.
  • Label your video with your name.
  • Video should not be more than 35 Mb in size.
  • File format may include Windows Media Formats, MP3, AVI, MOV, WMV. Our application will support H.264 video files.
  • Check for proper lighting and audio before submitting.

Submit one (1) Video response to BOTH questions below (max 2 mins):

  1. Can you provide an example of a time when you were faced with a difficult ethical dilemma at work or school, and how did you handle it? How do you ensure that you uphold integrity and ethical standards in all aspects of your professional and personal life?
  2. The Champions Programme is a highly competitive programme, what distinguishes you from other graduates and why do you believe you are well-suited for this program?

ESSAY GUIDELINES:

Select one (1) of the following essay questions below (max 750 words)

1. Why is Corporate Governance so important to a large conglomerate such as ANSA McAL? Does Corporate Governance create too much bureaucracy which impedes profitability?

2. What do you think are the key challenges and opportunities the CARIB team will encounter navigating the beer industry in India? What marketing strategies should they implement to build brand awareness in this territory?

3. Discuss the role of technology specifically Artificial Intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of work post-pandemic and how companies can adapt to this digital transformation.

4. Analyze the impact of climate change on businesses and industries worldwide. How can organizations incorporate sustainability practices into their operations to mitigate environmental risks?

5. How has the rise of remote work and virtual collaboration changed traditional office dynamics? What are the pros and cons of a distributed workforce model?

6. With the increasing focus on mental health and well-being in the workplace, discuss the importance of employee wellness programs and their impact on productivity and morale.

7. Explore the concept of ethical leadership and its significance in guiding organizations through times of uncertainty and change.

8. Discuss the challenges and opportunities for women in leadership roles in male-dominated industries. How can organizations promote gender diversity and equality in the workplace?

9. Trincity Mall is the largest mall in Trinidad and Tobago, it has experienced a significant decline in patronage and profitability over the years. With ANSA McAL’s interest in acquiring the mall, what recommendations would you propose to enhance and improve profitability and investment?

10. Discuss the growing threat of cyberattacks in today’s digital age. What recommendations would you put forward to protect ANSA McAL Group of companies locally, regionally and internationally?

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain Management, HR or Business Management
  • First or Upper second-class honours.
  • No more than 1 year’s working experience.
  • Internships while studying would be an asset.
  • Applications are to be submitted no later than June 30th, 2024.
