Van Sales Representative

This position requires an enthusiastic, hardworking, customer service champion who meets the needs of customers, develops their sales route and delivers products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:

• Drive the truck in accordance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, ensuring the safety of all occupants on board.
• Comply with the Company’s policies and procedures around inventory checks and control processes.
• Comply with the Company’s pattern of packing the truck.
• Ensure that the truck is carrying the correct amount of stock in order to cover the sales route.
• Assist with loading and offloading items from the truck.
• Deliver the correct amount of product to customers.
• Meet sales targets set by the Sales and Marketing Director.
• Complete daily call sheets in its entirety and keep track of daily sales.
• Review and update route listing as required.
• Provide feedback to the Van Sales Supervisor/s and the Marketing and Sales Director on issues and trends noticed on the trade.
• Provide assistance to the sales team with putting out merchandising and advertising equipment as needed.
• Ensure that the truck is kept clean at all times.
• Immediately report all truck damages or maintenance issues to the Sales Supervisor/s.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Van Sales.  
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (class 4) with a good driving record.
• Familiar with the geographical structure of Trinidad.
• A valid police certificate of good character.
