A leading pharmaceutical importer/distributor in south Trinidad is seeking to fill the position of Sales/Marketing Representative.

 

 

Summary:

 

The Sales/Marketing Representative is responsible for providing our clients with accurate, updated, balanced and expert product knowledge, with the aim of increasing our market share through reliable and professional best practice.  Responsible also for generating new business and the achievement of assigned targets.

 

 

Key Duties:

 

  1. Sell the company’s products and services clients’ accounts assigned in accordance with internal policies and procedures to ensure monthly assigned targets are met.

 

  1. Acquire an in-depth knowledge of all products.

 

  1. Follow up on orders, deliveries and payments for orders supplied.

 

  1. Collect payments on behalf of the company as required.

 

  1. Work with the Sales Team to innovate and implement strategies for increasing the company’s sales, improving customer relations, and attracting new customers.

 

  1. Schedule and conduct product knowledge meetings/updates with pharmacy staff in accordance with the company’s internal guidelines.

 

  1. Attend promotions, health fairs and other charitable events as needed.

 

  1. Provide reports as required.

 

 

Education & Experience:

 

  • BSc in Business, Marketing or related field
  • A science subject at CXC/CSEC/CAPE will be an asset.
  • Certified in Sales/Marketing techniques by a recognized Sales Training Organization
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
  • At least 3 years direct sales experience.
  • Previous Sales experience in a Pharmaceutical Company will be an asset.
