The Information Systems Department of Jamaica Broilers Group is seeking a results-oriented individual to join the team. Ideally, the candidate should possess the following essential qualifications, knowledge and skills:

• First Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution;
• Good analytical and problem solving skills;
• Extensive knowledge of object based programming languages and various relational database management systems, including but not limited to Microsoft .NET technology, JAVA, Microsoft Visual Studio, X++, C#, VB.NET, SQL, .Net framework, Azure DevOps, Javascript;
•  Solid understanding and working knowledge of ERP solutions e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Great Plains, Oracle;
•  Knowledge of Mobile and Web Computing technologies (ASP.Net, JavaScript, DevOps);
•  Knowledge or certification in Microsoft SQL Server technologies;
• Strong interface writing using modern coding techniques (Microsoft BizTalk or MuleSoft is a plus);
• Experience using Windows environments and applications and familiarity with popular application software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft 365);
•  Excellent human relations, communication skills, basic accounting principles and creative thinking ability;
• At least five (5) years’ experience in program design, programming, documentation and ability to provide Technical User Support;
• Own a reliable motor vehicle.
