Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guest with a smile using their name whenever it becomes available.
• Ensure that guest interaction is efficient, expedient and personalized.
• Receives assigned service area from waiter at start of shift.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house including all tables, and chairs.
• Restocks dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments and linen, and maintains adequate supplies in the workstation when dining room is open.
• Prepares beverages required for service including coffee, iced tea and hot water.
• Sets up all tables as required by restaurant standard prior to and during service ensuring that all service utensils are clean and free from cracks, chips, fingerprints and food remains.
• Complete all pre-shift side work, ensuring that side stands are fully stocked and cleaned.
• Greets guest as appropriate after they are seated in assigned area. Serves water, rolls and butter to guest.
• Check regularly, refill and clean salt and pepper shakers, sugar bowls and condiments as needed.
• Communicates with hostess and wait staff to maintain service efficiency and ensures guest satisfaction.
• Assists wait staff in serving tables during rush periods. Remain in assigned stations during shift observing assigned tables and attend to guests needs.
• Ensure side stands are clean, organized per restaurant standards at the end of the shift.
• Ensures a complete knowledge of menu terminology and service standard.
• Removes dirty dishes and silverware from guest tables and between courses and after guest leaves the table.
• Replaces used dishes and silverware for the next course, and resets vacated tables.
• Returns dirty dishes, silverware and glassware to dishwashing area, sorting silverware, glassware and other items, placing them in the prescribe area for proper cleaning.
• Keep medical health certificate current.
• Attend daily line-up, Post shift meetings and training as needed.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, condition and regulations as set out in the company's employee Handbook.
• Perform other reasonable duties that might be assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
• Minimum of 1 year restaurant experience
• Good communication skills
• Food Handler's Certificate
