The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and accreditation processes.

Accreditation Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the institution’s chances of achieving accreditation status.
  • Oversee the institution's accreditation process, working closely with accreditation bodies to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.

 Foundation Establishment:

  • Take the lead in establishing the institution's foundation, outlining its mission, goals, and strategic objectives in alignment with the overall vision of the organization.
  • Ensure the foundation's compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, overseeing the process of obtaining necessary approvals and certifications.
  • Serve as Chair of the Foundation Board, leading fundraising efforts to secure financial support for the institution's programmes, research initiatives, and infrastructure development.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team within TCICC, especially direct reports.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence among team members.

 Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets related to institutional advancement, external affairs, and accreditation activities.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.

 Government and Regulatory Relations:

  • Monitor changes in government policies and regulations affecting higher education.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with relevant government bodies and regulatory agencies.

Technology Integration:

  • Explore and implement technological solutions to enhance the efficiency of institutional advancement processes, including donor management systems and online fundraising platforms.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies relevant to the field and recommend innovative solutions.

International Relations:

  • Explore opportunities for international collaboration and partnerships to increase the institution's global presence.
  • Represent the institution in international forums and conferences related to higher education.

Ethics and Compliance:

  • Ensure all institutional advancement and external affairs activities adhere to ethical standards and compliance requirements.
  • Provide guidance to staff on ethical considerations and compliance issues related to fundraising and external relations.

Strategic Planning:

  • Work closely with the institution leadership team to contribute to the development and execution of the institution's strategic plan.

External Affairs:

  • Represent the institution externally, building and maintaining relationships with government officials, industry leaders, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications:                    

  • Masters degree education, educational leadership, public administration or equivalent; preferred Ph.D or E.D

                                  

Experience:

 At least 8 years related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience

 Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project finance skills

Excellent public speaking, written and oral communication skills

Familiarity with the development and implementation of strategic plans, financial and narrative reporting/documentation mechanism, research methodologies, project, proposals, contracts, monitoring, and evaluation tools.

Overseas recruits are eligible for a Housing Allowance of USD10,200.00 (Providenciales) USD7,800.00 (Grand Turk) Per Annum, a settling-in loan and 10% gratuity upon successful completion of the contract of engagement.
