This role will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimum Sales, Quality, Distribution, Visibility, Price, Placement, Promotion and Execution of the Food & Grocery Division’s Brands, ensuring excellence in execution in the assigned channels.

Trade Execution Executive

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Lead quarterly activations with customers (gondola/floor display bookings, promotions, demos and samplings) across the channels in keeping with best practices for each category.
  • Report and provide analysis on ROI for all activations bi-annually.
  • Coordinate the trade budgets (point of sales, rentals and sampling/demo’s) in collaboration with the Marketing team, ensuring all expenses are accounted for and tracked.
  • Perform ongoing negotiations with Third Party Suppliers to optimize costs and drive efficiencies across the brands.
  • Develop preferred supplier lists and recruit new suppliers for executions.
  • Assist in the conceptualization of customer and/or channel-specific POS, promotional materials and signage related to trade activities.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Merchandising and Promotional Teams to ensure that all in-store promotional activities are executed according to plan.
  • Track, monitor, and report key Competitor activities at a Trade level, providing insights/plans to drive competitive advantage.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers (management to shop floor supervisors) ensuring regular communication and support.
  • Analyse the behaviour of brands/categories in the market, by channels and/or by customers, and contribute to the development of exhibition strategies, success pictures, and execution plans that strengthen the leadership of our brands as best in class.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
