The position is responsible for the daily operation of the IT Department and provides support to user departments to ensure hardware, software, network and all IT needs are met.

 

Responsibility:

Supervision

  • Responsible for the daily operations of the Information Technology Department

 

Maintenance of hardware

  • Conduct review of existing hardware to ensure its suitability and compatibility with software.

 

Maintenance of software

  • Provide support to all user departments to ensure relevance of software, inclusive of upgrades and customization

Network

  • Ensure that the Network communication is secure and efficient.
  • Implement improvement to communications System in keeping with improvement in technology.
  • Provide updates on changes in technology.

 

Database network management

  • Routine database and system backup
  • Adequate backup and disaster recovery program to be documented and in place.

 

System development

  • Examine new areas/services that IT can utilize to improve service or efficiency.
  • Launch at least two new products/services each year.

 

 

Required Education/Expertise/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT field.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Scheduling skills
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to attend to details.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to motivate staff.

 

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience stores facility.
